More about Thomas
Thomas started out as a simultaneous interpreter at the IMF, working from Spanish, French and German into English. From there he moved into enterprise sales of medical technology at Brainlab, across twelve European countries, and then into industrial measurement instruments at Hioki.
In 2019 he founded Berba, a translation marketplace he built hands-on and ran as CEO for five years, growing it to a team of 25 and more than 300 clients. He then spent 2024 and 2025 in Senior Growth & Strategy at re:cap, a financial-intelligence SaaS, driving product expansion and growth as it moved into institutional clients.
Today he works full-time on Odysi, from Madrid, and runs our business development and delivery. He also writes most of the guides on this site. He works in English and Spanish, both native, and also in German, French and Basque.

Thomas at Odysi
Thomas runs Odysi’s business development and delivery, full-time. He is also the author of most of our guides; three to start with:
How to test an AI agent before it talks to your customers
The acceptance test we run before an agent goes live.
Why most AI projects fail (and the ones that don’t)
The predictable reasons, and what the projects that work do differently.
How to implement AI in your company, step by step
From the first process to hand-over, and what to ask any partner.
All guides
Plain-language guides on putting AI to work, written by the people who build it.
Working with Thomas
Write or book
A short call or a message, whichever suits you. We ask a few quick questions, then point you to the right next step. We won’t pitch you.
A first call, free
The first conversation costs nothing and is specific: we tell you plainly whether there is a project worth doing. If the volume is too low for AI to pay for itself, we say so.
Start with one process
After the call we send a written proposal with the price and the assumptions behind it. We start with one process, then hand it back to your people to run.
